Private family services have been held for Lawrence E. Lingafelter, 63, of Eastlake.


Mr. Lingafelter passed away Oct. 4, 2011.


Born March 23, 1948, in Painesville, he was a lifelong Eastlake resident.  


He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3863 Willowick-Eastlake.


Mr. Lingafelter was employed at the former Cleveland Crane and Engineering Company in Wickliffe and also at Letters Paving Company in Painesville.


Survivors are his siblings, Sandy (Lloyd) Granaas of Florida, John (Paulette) Lingafelter of Concord Township, Nancy (Fred) Zeiller of Mentor, Roger (Debra) Lingafelter of Madison, Kathy (Matt) Peirce of Michigan and Peggy (Jim) Rose of Concord Township. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.
His parents, John and Mary Lingafelter; and longtime companion, Susie Kerezsi, are deceased.
Arrangements are entrusted to Davis-Babcock Funeral Home in Willoughby.
