I remember meeting Gary at the Stables and having him being a part of our group. I also remember his 1955 or 56 Chevy. Many funny stories come to mind. He did his best on trying to convince me into not going in the service. How we discuss this issue. So many have cross over.
I remember Gary quite well also, Troy.. He was always one of those guys who wore an honest-to-john friendly smile and never failed to say "hello." And you know he meant it,too... Farewell, Gary, your classmates honor you with fond memories...
Gary was one of the nicest guys from the "North End" of Willoughby.... always in a good mood.... always smiling and always a gentleman. I was very sorry to read of his passing ... Rest in peace.
Sorry to hear of Gary's passing.. As a Sophmore, meeting Gary and his Eastlake Jr classmates was GREAT. We had alot of FUN in the NORTH END. God Bless Gary Swart. John thanks for the picture!
Gary had some good partys, sister Karen?Anyone else there when Gary was cruising around his block in the Citys Frontloader Tractor City left in front of his house one eve?Besides myself,Ray Wight,Lee Gortz,Dave Zone?L.O.L.
I contacted Gary's daughter to ask about his (younger) sister, Karen. Karen passed away before Gary. But, Gary's (older) brother, Hank, is alive and well. I remember both of them. I knew Karen better than Hank. I only recall that Hank had a really cool vintage corvette.
