Stephen Dunn Obituary

Stephen Dunn, 67, of Burton, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday February 27, 2018. 
Steve was born October 23, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late James and Rosemary (Gaydas) Dunn. 
A 1968 graduate of Eastlake North High School, he had been a Burton area resident since 1991, and was the owner-operator of Custom Siding in Burton since 1985. 
A longtime member of New Testament Baptist Church of Claridon, he was a former Sunday school teacher and youth group leader. After age 60, he ran in 3 full and 3 half marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2016. An avid Cleveland Indians fan, he also enjoyed coaching his sons in baseball, as well as a church sponsored team. Steve gave of himself to others, as a witness to his Lord. On May 25, 1986, he married his beloved wife Sharon L. (Kleve) Dunn who survives at their home. 
He is also survived by his devoted children, Nathanael (Lindsay) Dunn of Lyndhurst, Ohio, Michael Dunn of Dublin, Ohio, Aaron Dunn of Burton and Annaliese (Robert) Frailey of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; dear siblings James (Terry Barko) Dunn of Concord, Ohio and Patricia (Robert) Brunskole of Willowick, Ohio. 
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Slitor Cemetery, 16297 Claridon-Troy Rd., Burton, Ohio 44021 with Pastor Jack Holbrook officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday March 4, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at New Testament Baptist Church, 12199 Claridon-Troy Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024 with Pastor Holbrook officiating. Memorial visitation will take place on Sunday at the church from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
