Nick Tartaglia, 76, of Concord Twp., passed away with his daughters by his side at home Sunday,
January 11, 2026. He was born on May 4, 1949, in Cleveland.
Mr. Tartaglia was a US Marine veteran serving in Vietnam. During his time in Vietnam, he was
awarded a Purple Heart and several other honorable medals for his bravery and service.
Nick enjoyed just simply being surrounded by family and friends. Getting together for summer
cookouts and having everyone over for Sunday sauce and “roni’s”. Anything that involved family and food put a smile on his face. His door was always open, and the tunes were always playing.
He absolutely loved spoiling his grandchildren every chance he had and when mom said no, papa
always said yes. He was the best storyteller with the biggest heart. He was the kindest, most generous, compassionate and funniest man that you would ever have the privilege of knowing, always making sure his family was taken care of. He was, without a doubt, the rock of the family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years: Vicki Tartaglia; daughters: Nicole (Nathan)
Corcoran, Tiffany Heestand and Alicia Tartaglia; grandchildren: Aidan and Griffin Corcoran,
Dylan and Abby Heestand and Mason Grunden Tartaglia; siblings: Donna (Jerry) Cavell, Maria
Reed and Arthur Tartaglia and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Nick in death are his parents: Arthur and Ann Tartaglia and granddaughter: Emma
Grace Heestand.
A celebration of Nick’s life will be held at a later date. Please continue to check this obituary for
the time, date and location of the event.
