CHESNEE -- Diana Joy Burke, 50, died Jan. 3, 2001.

The wife of Edward C. Burke and daughter of Theresa Gamber of Willowick, Ohio, and Charles W. Uritza of Mentor, Ohio, she was a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She was a nurse at Piedmont Internal Medicine and a member of the South Carolina Nursing Association.

Survivors include her stepdaughter, Elissa J. Motter of Davenport, Fla.; three sisters, Donna J. Antenucci of Mentor, Deborah J. Loomis of Austintown, Ohio, and Denise J. Hoefle of Eastlake, Ohio; and one grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:45 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Mortuary in Chesnee.

Funeral services will follow visitation at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Arthritis Foundation Carolinas Chapter, 5019 Nations Crossing, Suite 217, Charlotte, N.C.; or American Heart Association, 310 Bennett Center Drive, Suite B, Greer, 29650.
