Carlton Lee Watson 

Carlton Lee Watson Sr., 60, Somerset, passed on Feb. 20, 2010, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh with his family by his side. Born June 17, 1949, in Hichcox, Tenn., he is the son of Edith Beckwith of Houston and the late Steven Susko. He is also preceded in death by his son, William Jacob; brother, James; and sisters, Bonnie, Kriss and Teressa. He is survived by his mother; wife of 39 years, Norma J. (Gastley) Watson; children, Jo Lynne Rounsley, Tammy L. Baker and Carlton L. Watson Jr.; grandchildren: Jennifer, Beth, Dennis, Nichole, Zachary, Joshua, Kevin, Justin, Ashley, Alexander and Colton; nine great-grandchildren; brothers: David, Steven, Donald and Ronald; and sisters, Jaqueline and Lisa. Carlton served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing and Steelers football. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Also visitation at 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 464 Stoystown Road, Somerset. President Calvin Cramer officiating. Interment at Beam Church Cemetery with full military honors by the Somerset County Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
