Richard Phillip Zerman, 71, passed away on May 18th, 2020 after a long struggle with a lung disease. He was born on March 7th,1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late George and Jean (Christian) Zerman. He was a Vietnam veteran and a lifelong member of the V.F.W. Post 1056 in Euclid, Ohio. He worked at H.C. Starck for 34 years.

Richard was the beloved husband of 46 years, to Valerie (Nowakowski), loving father to daughters Corie and Devon, cherished Poppa to Richelle, Careasel, Jason, and Ari, brother to Charles (Mary) Zerman, Roy (Debbie) Zerman, and twin sister Patricia (Charles) Gatten, a nephew, an uncle, and friend to many.

There will be a get together, with social distancing, at Jakubs and Son Funeral Home in Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday, May 27th, 2020 from 3-7pm. We will celebrate his life with pictures of some of his fondest memories. He has been cremated and will be buried at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetary at a later date so that he can receive a well deserved military service

I am sorry to hear about Rich's passing. He lived one street over from me and I was at this home many times visting with his sister Pat. My mother was friends with his mother and grandmother.  His grandmother made my dress for homecoming for my senior year.
