I was shocked and sad to see Barb had passed away.  We were good friends in school and shared some great times.  Barb had the most wonderful smile and was full of fun!  I was lucky to have her as a friend. One of my greatest regrets is that we didn't keep in touch and get to share our "life after high school".  God bless you Barb, and your family.

I have known Barbara since grade school.  I have been intouch with her about 6 months ago and had a very nice talk, enjoyed every moment of our reminiscing.  She was a fun loving graceful Lady.  She loved life.  Will be sadly missed...

Barb and I have been meeting for lunch since I retired 9 years ago on her day off from Progressive.  I last saw her in June when she mentioned some medical issues.  When I called her at the end of July, she knew she had cancer, but seemed quite calm about it.  That was the last I talked to her.  Her husband said the treatment just did her in.  It will be rough knowing I will not see her at lunch every month and hearing about her kids and grandkids.  Just still surreal to me.
