Worked for WEWS-TV, Channel 5 in Cleveland and then transferred to the Scripps Howard NBC TV station in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1986. Retired 10 yrs ago and now I do media consulting work and produce TV commercials.

I did a lot of work in the past 30 years for the cause of autism which affected my little brother David. If anyone remembers him when we were teenagers, he was the only kid anyone ever heard of who had autism and now it's an epidemic.

I play lots of tennis so living in Florida is ideal but I still visit Cleveland about once a year..always think of it as my other home.

To the North High Classmates...Alice and I have been friends since the 1st grade having grown up together on Roberts Rd. and remain good friends today. As many of you know she married her high school sweetheart Bob Beutel and they had two girls. Sadly, her daughter Brooke, at age 42, has passed away after a grueling battle of surgeries and treatment for oral cancer. Brooke was also a mom and leaves behind a 6yr old and a 4yr old, so the family has a lot to deal with!
The Monreal Funeral Home 35400 Curtis Blvd. in Eastlake will have visitation on Monday, July 22nd, from 4-6 PM followed by a memorial service at 6 PM. Many of you know Alice and Bob-- who both worked in the school system, including at North High. Please keep them in your thoughts as they deal with this difficult and heartbreaking time in their lives.

Happy Birthday Sharyn, hard to believe we have been out of high school 50 yrs! I'll bet you are the only one that can still do a cartwheel...hee. Enjoy the day, see you in September!
